Are you suffering from an eating disorder? Are you tired of the restrictions that food rules place on your ability to freely live your life? No matter your age or gender, we are here for you.
Here at Monarch Wellness & Psychotherapy, we aim to help you with individual treatment for your eating disorder based on your situation and needs. We provide therapy for all variations of eating disorders, including bulimia, anorexia, binge-eating disorders, and more.
Fighting eating disorders from both ends
Eating disorders manifest themselves in different ways. Treatment for an eating disorder may benefit you if you experience out-of-control eating, compulsive overeating, stress eating, yo-yo dieting, and more.
Our treatment for eating disorders focuses on treating both immediate symptoms and underlying causes, including triggers that impede your recovery. Together we will form a plan to get your behavior and eating stabilized, and then will work on healing the causes of your disorder.
In therapy, we may focus on both thoughts and behaviors.
Our eating disorder treatment aims to help you:
- Cope with negative emotions in a healthy way
- Transform negative views of yourself and improve your self-worth
- Finding freedom from food rules
- Loving and trusting yourself and your choices
- Creating a healthier headspace
- Shutting out harmful influences and finding your voice
Together, we will plan your course of therapy. While working on helping you get through the day, each day, we will work in parallel on getting to the roots of your disorder.
We will work together to adopt healthy behaviors and a healthier lifestyle, finding ways to bring more freedom and creativity into your day to day life.
Together, we will make plans for bad days, and plan ways to help you keep yourself free of the chains of your eating disorder.
