Education and experience
Dr. Joseph has participated in psychoanalytic fellowships with the Contemporary Freudian Society, Baltimore-Washington Institute for Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy, and the Washington Center for Psychoanalysis.
He has participated in advanced training in Intensive-Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy and is now a presenter on ISTDP. Dr. Joseph also teaches ISTDP as a guest faculty member at the Washington School of Psychiatry.
Dr. Maury Joseph received his PsyD from George Washington University’s Professional Psychology Program. He received his BA in Psychology and Sociology from Dickinson College in 2009. As part of his education and training he has worked in high school, college, community mental health, psychiatric hospital, and retirement community settings.
