Individual Psychotherapy
Yvette Mitchell is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of social work experience. Yvette’s clinical experience includes working with tweens, adolescents, and adults in a variety of mental health settings including a clinical private practice, an eating disorder treatment center, and a national employee assistance program. Additionally, she has served as a school counselor at an independent middle and high school where she supported students’ social-emotional health and wellness and provided support to parents.
Yvette infuses compassion, curiosity, and humor into therapy sessions. She also utilizes an eclectic approach to treatment, often drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness practices, and body neutrality approaches to therapy when supporting clients.
